Drama Korea She Was Pretty bercerita tentang dua kenalan masa lalu yang bertemu lagi setelah mereka sudah merubah penampilan masing-masing.

Dulu ketika muda Kim Hye-jin adalah seorang gadis yang sangat cantik dari keluarga kaya. Setelah perusahaan penerbitan keluarganya bangkrut, ia mengalami masa-masa yang kesulitan bahkan kehilangan kecantikannya.

Sedangkan Ji Sung-joon dulunya adalah anak yang tidak menarik dengan harga diri yang rendah, tetapi kini ia tumbuh sebagai editor tampan dan sukses.
